The CELON procedure - Gentle treatment for varicose veins

At out institute – in contrast to the procedures employed in other vein clinics and practises – we make use of all scientifically proven, sensible and safe procedures for the treatment of varicose veins:

• our exceptional technological equipment, employing all modern procedures, makes it feasible for us to make use of a unique combination of the various gentle methods in an individual, tailor-made manner
• we have therefore also included the CELON® procedure in our abundant portfolio of available varicose vein procedures.

CELON® is an especially gentle radiofrequency method (which makes use of "radio waves"), in which even finer probes than those employed in the other procedures can be used, and where the tips of the probes are not heated to a temperature of 120° C, as is to be seen with the other methods (or even up to 1600°C as is required with the laser), but rather to a substantially reduced temperature of only 85°C.

We make use of this procedure, as well as other methods,

• on an out-patient basis
• without incisions
• without anaesthesia or with only mild anaesthesia

employed in combination with other procedures or as an individual procedure (such as those always used by us) for practically all of those undergoing vein treatment

• after which one can work or participate in sports after just 24 hours
• where one only has to wear compression stockings for 24 hours

We are very happy to be able to report that our methods of vein treatment are complete for now and that we will continue to keep a close eye on scientific and technical developments, so that we will always be "on top".

At the same time, we ourselves personally attempt to modify scientific advancements for the manufacturers of these devices and for the medical specialist societies in order to promote such advancements in vein treatment.
